Intro to Power Skating & Puck Control is for players 5-7 years old who would like to improve on their skating and puck handling skills. This program is also a great way to introduce new techniques that they may have not have been shown or taught.
Participants in this program can expect to learn and improve in the following areas:
- Inside & Outside Edge Work
- Crossovers
- Stops & Starts
- Improving Stride Length
- Skating With the Puck on Their Stick
- Turning With and Without the Puck
- Stick Handling & Dekes
Intro to Power Skating & Puck Control is the younger age equivalent to our Power Skating & Puck Control Level 1 (ages 6-8) and Power Skating and Puck Control (ages 9-14) programs.
