Young Skaters Development

This program is suitable for children aged four years old and up. To register for this program, your child must be able to stand, move and recover from falling without any assistance from an instructor. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this will be a “non-contact” program meaning instructors are unable to touch or pick-up the participants at any time for any reason.

This program is an introductory class that teaches young children the fundamentals of skating. Our program is designed to teach students how to move around the ice, learn proper skating stride and how to stop.

Each session will be 45 minutes in length. The class will be broken down into 40 minutes of instructional time and five minutes of free/play time. Each class will have a maximum of 15 skaters and 5/1 student to instructor ratio to ensure that each child is getting more reps and personalized feedback.

Only one parent/guardian will be allowed to enter the facility with your child. Once your child is on the ice, the parent will be permitted to watch in designated areas in the facility.

Please note: the cost of all classes are prorated to reflect the number of weeks remaining in the program. The prorated amount will appear when you reach the payment stage of the registration.

Weekend classes start on September 12, 2020 and run until November 1, 2020.

Friday classes start on September 18, 2020 and run until October 30, 2020.
