Power Skating, Puck Control & Passing Skills

NTR's Power Skating, Puck Control & Passing program is designed for children 8 and up. This program is for children who would like to develop their skating skills and skills with a puck. Players will focus on all skating skills with integration of puck control. They will learn to make and receive passes while skating.

  • Each class is approximately 1 hour long, a maximum of 24 children on the ice per class and with an instructor to student ratio of 1:7. Mini games may be played at the end of class.
  • All skaters are required to wear a CSA approved hockey helmet with a full facial mask. As well they must be wearing full hockey equipment. Please remember the neck guard, jersey and socks. They will need a hockey stick as well.
  • Make up classes are available if they are not sold out, and the appropriate level for your child.
  • A NTR staff has the right to move your child to another class if they feel the program is more appropriate for them.


Programs Begin: Saturday January 4th
Programs End: Sunday April 5th
No Class: Monday February 17th

Please note: The cost of all classes are prorated to reflect the number of weeks remaining in the program. The prorated amount will appear when you reach the payment stage of the registration.
