NTR's Powerskating and Puck Control program is for children ages 7 and up.This program will focus on the two most important skills of hockey; skating and handling the puck. This program will combine stride and quick feet development along with stick handling and techniques for puck possession.
- Each class is approximately 1 hour long, with a guaranteed smaller class size and adequate student to instructor ratio.
- All skaters are required to wear a CSA approved hockey helmet with a full facial mask. As well they must be wearing full hockey equipment. Please remember the neck guard, jersey and socks. They will need a hockey stick as well.
- A NTR staff has the right to move your child to another class if they feel the program is more appropriate for them.
Each class will have a maximum of 16 skaters and approximately a 5/1 student to instructor ratio to ensure that each child is getting more reps and personalized feedback. Only one parent/guardian may enter the facility to assist with tying skates and spectate the class.
Our COVID-19 Liability Waiver must be completed by everyone entering the facility, each week of your class.
Please note: the cost of all classes are prorated to reflect the number of weeks remaining in the program. The prorated amount will appear when you reach the payment stage of the registration.
