Magic Hands & Take Aways is for players 9-14 years old. This program is designed to help players improve their stick handling as well as their puck retrieval skills.
Participants in this program can expect to learn & improve in the following areas:
- Stick Handling While Skating & Stationary
- Dekes and Fakes
- Properly Holding Their Stick With Their Top Hand
- Sliding Their Bottom Hands Up & Down Their Stick to Better Control the Puck
- Utilizing Both Their Backhand and Forehand Appropriately
- Retrieving Pucks
- Stealing the Puck Back
- Lifting Their Opponent's Stick
